Halcyon Solutions is growing! We are adding Principal Java Developer **to our team at*Columbus, Oh - 6 months  DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT

 Technical:

Technologies:  ATG eCommerce Platform, Java, Spring, JSP, Javascript, JMS, Web Services, JBoss, Apache, Maven, Oracle, CSS, HTML, XML, SQL, GIT, Eclipse, AJAX, Objective-C

Agile development technologies, such as Cucumber, Calabash, Bamboo, Jira, Confluence

Utilize existing Java/ATG development experience to guide development lifecycle through potential pitfalls and establish “best practice” JavaEE development standards

Analyze customer business requirements and software/product objectives; develop an application design in products to meet customer needs.

Translate management and creative content requirements into architectural design.

Experience working with external vendors for development efforts (Scene 7, Omniture, Bazaarvoice, Akamai, Gift Card Vendors)

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 8 years of experience in most areas outlined above

2-3 years E-Commerce Java Development experience

Experience in full life cycle JavaEE solution implementation from conceptualization, requirements, design and specification through development (coding), QA/debugging, integration testing, deployment and follow-up support.

Broad understanding of eCommerce technology tools, providers and trends

Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills

Must possess a strong attention to detail, superior follow-up skills and be results oriented
Knowledge and understanding of retail industry a plus

Ability to integrate in a rapidly changing environment.

Excellent planning skills and a proactive approach

Excellent follow-up skills and ability to meet aggressive deadlines

Strong oral/written communications and analytical skills
