In this capacity, the candidate provides a business/systems analysis and solution-consulting role within Eagle*s Core Accounting development team. The candidate will work closely with clients, Eagle Sales, GPS, Product Management and other teams within R&D on development activities under the direction of the Core Accounting Team Lead.
Business systems analysis for assigned tasks within Eagle*s mission statement and development strategy.
Working within the overall product vision, key objectives, strategies, sponsorship and priorities consistent with contractual obligations, regulatory changes and product requirements.
Working in partnership with Eagle Product, Product Development and Release Management in defining business and functional requirements to ensure software and installation quality.
Contributing to the overall usability and acceptance relative to best in industry functionality.
Communicating project status to internal stakeholders, Product and Product Development Management and RDO under the direction of the Core Accounting Team Lead.
Comply with Eagle financial management and reporting directives.
Financial management includes both Service Level Agreements for maintenance and infrastructure support, as well as project level funding for defect correction and new functionality.
Identify and recommend new applications, solutions and project integration opportunities across Eagle projects and/or products.
Maintain awareness of emerging web-technology methods and tools re: web-development, usability testing, graphic design, interactive programming, privacy/security consulting, multi-media development consistent with Eagle re: engineering opportunities.
Contribute to continuous quality improvements in support of Eagle projects.
Comply with 100% accuracy of time reporting.
Demonstrated success over 2 to 4+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in the financial services industry.
Working knowledge of the Internet, current web-technology including familiarity with client/server networking, relational database structures and data warehousing.
Emphasis on defining business requirements, systems analysis, and effective deployment of information technology solutions.
Demonstrated business/systems analysis and communication skills as a hands-on achiever.
Strong sense of team work in the development, articulation and delivery of small to medium multi-layered business and system strategies.
On-going commitment to expanding ones business and technology expertise.
Experience with Microsoft Office is essential; Experience with SQL is a plus.
BS/BA degree in Marketing Communications, Business Administration (Accounting or Finance), or Information Technology or equivalent/relevant work experience; advanced degree a plus.
The candidate must possess proven business/systems analysis expertise in the financial services industry and effective communication skills consistent with work experience level of the position.
Outstanding oral and written skills are critical to effectively working with client management, Eagle Sales, GPS, Product and Product Development managers, Developers, subject matter content experts, as well as partner-providers and vendors under the direction of the Core Accounting Team Lead.
