This job is OPEN/NATIONAL for the location. Travel required is 50-65%
The primary function of this position is to cultivate new business as well as to manage and leverage existing clientele within FishNet's market place. This position carries a monthly quota and quarterly achievement is a key measure of success. The position has a base salary, plus an uncapped commission and bonus plan.
Responsibilities: Pro-actively network, cold call, and sell to multiple contacts within an organization, including "C" levels.
Manage and develop relationships with customers and provide a consultative sales approach that delivers the highest level of account management services.
Passionately share the FishNet story and represent FishNet Security, Inc. services and technology partner products.
Consistently prospect for net new clientele.
Maintain industry relationships through organizations (ISSA, ISACA, etc.) or other networking venues.
Attends to leads with a sense of urgency and communicates timely feedback to the lead source.
Accurately and consistently maintain sales forecast.
Drive attendance to regional marketing events.
Works closely with vendor partners and be able to articulate their technology.
Maintain a solid understanding of partner pricing models and deal registration programs.
Maintain open communication with clients and vendors through the lifecycle of the sales process.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree or minimum 5 years sales experience required History of exceeding sales goals Specifically 3-5 years technology/information systems sales experience to enterprise level required Current enterprise security space experience required Established, strong relationships with key accounts in metro area Requires CRM experience, strong Microsoft Office skills and comfortable presenting to groups Demonstrated ability of lead generation and opening new accounts Vendor related certifications preferred (examples: CheckPoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, Websense, Symantec, McAfee, F5) Experience selling professional services, security audits and assessments (preferred)
