SoundBite Communications, is a leading global provider of cloud-based customer communications.  SoundBite acquired 2ergo Americas in February, 2012 to expand our mobile marketing offerings.  Join our team of passionate and creative, technical developers, and be responsible for developing and enhancing our enterprise-grade mobile platforms, web applications, and key client projects.  Help shape the unique architecture of our platforms and build new mobile marketing solutions!
You can be based in either Arlington, VA area, or Bedford, MA area for this role!


OUR TECHNOLOGY AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Java:  Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, Maven, Tomcat, JBoss
• Clustered MySQL
• Linux (but we don't mind Mac users)
• AJAX web development technologies such as Javascript and jQuery
• Occasional PHP and other scripting languages
• Work directly with product managers to help conceptualize, architect, and develop new product offerings
• Dig directly into our data to better understand how our users engage and interact with our platforms in the mobile space
• Collaborate with system administrators to aid in capacity planning, architecture management, and network monitoring and analysis

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• BS or MS or Doctorate in Computer Science or related field
• Experience building high performance, robust products for fast growing web or mobile enterprise products
• Comfortable in a small, intense, and high growth startup-like environment - completely self-driven and motivated

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS

SoundBite offers an excellent compensation plan, commensurate with experience, which is above average. Additionally, all employees are granted stock options.
