We are currently seeking a SQL Server DBA. The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for working on multiple environments and projects for multiple clients. SQL DBA responsibilities include production support of the database environments, strong communication skills (both verbal and written), software product installation, and maintenance. Under minimal supervision, SQL DBA will be responsible for proactive monitoring and maintenance, resolving technical issues, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.

SQL DBA Qualifications:
** Ability to effectively communicate internally and with our customers.
** At least 5+ years Microsoft SQL Server.
** Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS and SSRS nice to have.
** Must have a firm grasp of Microsoft Best Practices.
** Some experience mentoring others.
** Experience with SQL Server 2000 nice to have.
** Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008.
** MCDBA Certification nice to have.
** Experience working in a 24x7 environment.
** Must possess excellent communication skills for team projects and client communication.
** Strong analytical skills for problem resolution, database and SQL performance tuning.
** Extensive knowledge and experience in maintenance plans, backups and recoveries.
** Must have extensive experience in at least two of the following: Microsoft Clustering, Replication, Transact/SQL (code tuning), Mirroring, Log Shipping.
