mySQL DBA will be responsible for working on multiple environments and projects for multiple clients. mySQL DBA 's responsibilities include production support of the database environments, strong communication skills (both verbal and written), software product installation, and maintenance. Under minimal supervision, the qualified mySQL DBA will be responsible for proactive monitoring and maintenance, resolving technical issues, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.


mySQL DBA Qualifications:
** At least 3+ years mySQL.
** Experience with mySQL 5.0 or above
** Experience working in a 24x7 environment.
** Must possess excellent communication skills for team projects and client communication.
** Strong analytical skills for problem resolution, database and SQL performance tuning and backups.
** Linux/Unix system administration, SAN Storage Administration, Oracle Database Administration or Development, PL/SQL, TOAD
