BestIT has an opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager in Phoenix with a proven background in IT solutions/consulting sales. This role involves selling BestIT’s solution services, which includes: application development and managed services, network administration and support, business intelligence, large scale ERP implementations, QA and Testing services and outsourcing, project management and PMO solutions, and enterprise integration solutions. We are seeking a seasoned consultative solutions focused sales professional with significant industry knowledge and experience. The chosen individual will be able to work directly with customer leaders to win contracts. This role requires the ability to create and cultivate solid business relationships with C-level business and IT executives. Responsibilities:- Be a trusted advisor to the customer offering solutions with fair pricing to help leverage their business needs
- Maintain reporting and account information
- Ensure effective alignment of BestIT to customer’s most critical needs
- Uncover customer needs, match those needs to BestIT’s capabilities, determine the appropriate solution(s) for the customer, and then lead a team to customize and sell the right combination of services that will provide high value and produce profitable revenue
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for the customer, identify and procure the right internal and external resources to successfully craft, propose and sell technology solutions
- Analyze sales situations from a business perspective, identify key factors influencing business results, and assess the business opportunities and their associated risks
- Demonstrate the drive, initiative and persistence to win business and grow our business
- Highly organized to track, and prioritize as necessary to insure that those goals are met
Qualifications- Minimum of 10+ years experience in IT solutions including a history of closing large deals ranging from 1 to 10 million
- Proven ability to uncover customer needs, determine appropriate solutions
- Experience working with teams to craft solutions
- Demonstrated experience obtaining an audience with, presenting to, and selling C-level individuals
- Demonstrated ability and initiative to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives
- Ability to track and report progress for multiple, concurrent engagements
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, at operational and executive levels
- Broad understanding of technology and trends that affect our business
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and a MBA is a plus
