As a Pariveda Associate, you will work on small project teams to deliver solutions to our customers:

On most of your projects you will work directly with our clients:

• To understand and document their business and technology requirements.
• To design, code and test technology solutions.
• On some projects, you may be a team lead for one or more consultants.
• You will work alongside some of the sharpest developers to improve your technical and consulting skills.

Take an internal leadership role in one or more areas to grow our company and to coach, mentor and review our junior employees.

• Lead and develop some of the sharpest developers to improve your technical and consulting skills.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers.
• Facilitate cross team and cross component collaboration.

On IT strategy or process projects, you may be a member of a team with more senior Pariveda consultants. You will work with many technologies and work as an IT visionary for the client.

• Demonstrate strong problem solving ability, logic, and analytical skills.
• Maintain a broad knowledge of new technology tools and trends, and apply those tools to improving business processes.
• Apply industry standard analysis, architecture, and development techniques to assist in providing optimum solutions.

You will work mostly with local clients as a part of our geographic model, minimizing travel requirements.  

Desired Skills & Experience

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• 3-7 years of consulting or related experience
• Experience across all phases of the SDLC and Agile Software Development practices
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or Comparable major
• Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship

Strategy Competency:

• Ability to share knowledge and expertise with other Pariveda Consultants
• Current experience presenting technical solutions to business and technical audiences

Technology and Architectural Competency:

• Extensive hands on application development
• Technical lead/lead developer experience a bonus
• Significant experience working on large scale highly integrated application development
• Expert Java and web application experience
• Experience with industry standard architecture and design methodologies and processes
• Extensive experience with technical problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting.

Technical Competency:

• Experience in Java, J2EE, and core Java packages and Open Source technologies or Reverse Engineering
• Experience in frontend technologies like CSS, Javascript, JQuery, EXT-JS, AB Testing, prototype is a big plus.
• Experience in Java Application Servers like Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic.
• Experience in Spring framework, Hibernate, Maven and JMS, Apache Solr.
• Experience in SOA, REST Web Services, XML, Message Queuing
• Experience in RDBMs like Oracle, SQL query optimization and data replication.
• Experience in Cloud computing, virtualization and mobile device technology a plus
