Responsibilities

Assist in building the internal development team
Lead the internal development team
Advise on the improvement, results, competition and new direction in technology to assist with marketing of our brand

Requirements:

BS or MS in Computer Science or technical/quantitative field
3+years professional experience
Ruby on Rails, PHP, Python
Experience in managing servers and scalability
Strong knowledge of front-end development with AJAX, Javascript, CSS, and HTML
Experience as a team-lead on software development projects
Experience with agile development techniques including test-driven
development and priority-based planning
Be able to work with design and user experience teams in making trade-offs for phased development.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proven experience delivering quality applications to end users
Start-up experience at a fast growing web company is a plus
