Swoon Technology has an immediate need for a Sr. Manager of Client Services for an outstanding company here in Chicago! 
 
 
Overview:

The Client Services team is a fast paced, energetic, ever changing environment. We are goal oriented and driven to consistently exceed client expectations. We do what it takes to ensure our clients are successful. Due to our exponential growth, we are seeking a Senior Manager to join our team.

The Senior Manager will leverage their previous sales engineering/software implementation/technology consulting experiences to establish and maintain loyal customers, grow revenue and develop the Client Services team. The person in this role will take a proactive and persistent approach in identifying new sales opportunities. The Senior Manager will learn our CPM technology and other client solutions so they are equipped to advise customers.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform life cycle product implementation, technology assessment and develop strategic technology recommendations to clients
  • Responsible for lead generation, business development and sales
  • Cross selling and upselling the client's suite of applications within existing accounts
  • Facilitate clients’ adoption and use of the client, from initial implementation to delivering customer training and providing  ongoing client support
  • Collaborate with clients to optimize their processes using custom applications
  • Master the capabilities of the client's systems and advise customers on how to most effectively use the organization, including modifying customers' existing processes and procedures
  • Lead and develop a team focused on delivering a superior customer experience including results achievement, and best  practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve the organization's systems
  • Work with team members to define, prioritize, and implement selected enhancements
  • Make key customer management decisions regarding sales activities, processes improvement, service enhancements, and support
  • Manage, Mentor and develop team members
 
Qualifications:
  • Approximately 7-10 years of experience in software implementation/pre-sales/sales engineer and consulting (preferably in technology)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • SaaS or Software sales experience preferred
  • Management experience
  • Enterprise level sales cycle experience
  • Functional experience in Accounting, Financial Management, General Business Processes, Financial Transactions
  • Experience implementing accounting and financial software applications, internet functionality, interface conversion      awareness, and reporting capabilities
  • Demonstrated success in managing customer process and software implementations, including process selling, requirements identification and definition, user training and on-boarding, and  implementation support
  • Experience in troubleshooting in a customer environment
  • Must have strong communication skills and possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel (up to 50%) to work directly with customers at their office
