We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager with 8+ years of technical project management experience to work out of our Burbank or Solana Beach locations.

Position Overview

The Senior Technical Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of a technical project ensuring the final expectations are met. This individual must be able to communicate with all departments within the organization in order to ensure deadlines are being met, as well as report back to company executives with the status of projects. This person will manage complex technical requirements and client relationships in a stressful, deadline driven environment. This individual must work effectively with engineering, sales, marketing and other internal business units to ensure client satisfaction goals are met. Deluxe is a valued technology partner for a client, and therefore, any communication with the clients will need to be handled in a professional manner, and must inspire confidence in Deluxe**s ability to meet their needs. This position is based out of Burbank, CA.

Primary Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requests.
* Proactively communicate project details to internal and external clients and vendors.
* Organize and distribute work assignments to functional areas through the team managers.
* Ensure projects are being completed on time and the quality of work is consistent with client expectations.
* Work with the Scrum Master to track user stories and correlate data to prepare weekly/monthly reports for management/business review.
* Be an active member of the PMO and help in defining best practices and operating procedures. Mentor other members of the PMO organization.
* Must be able to interact and communicate with people at all levels in the organization.

Qualifications

* Bachelors in Computer Science, IT Management, or similar curriculum.
* 8+ years of technical project management experience.
* Expert knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools, and the software development and project management life cycles.
* Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues surrounding each project and influence cross-functional teams without formal reporting structure authority.
* Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication skills.Skilled at resolving problems and conflicting priorities and situations.
* Highly organized and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
* Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
* PMI/PMP Certification.
* Experience in an organization that adopts Agile (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, etc.) is highly desired.
* Experience in the media & entertainment industry is highly desired; especially related to digital audio, digital video, multimedia, and consumer electronic devices.
