Position Summary: Typically works on multiple medium to large IT projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments. Works on projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. Coaches and mentors more junior technical staff.

Position Responsibilities: Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing, maintaining and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies. Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy versus build recommendations.
Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams. Leads and directs the work of others. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. Provides technical support to project team members.
Support existing systems to meet Service Level Agreements and user expectations including user communication, system/job recoveries, system/job performance and documentation. Adhere to and insure compliance security, standards and controls are integrated into each system including Sarbanes, PCI and general audit computer controls.
Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years experience in multiple IT areas. Requires advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, business analysis, application systems design and integration as well as broad knowledge in other disciplines/technologies/processes that interact with the assigned function.
