The Enterprise Network Engineer (NPIE's - New Product Introduction Engineer) is a senior position concentrating on the next generation of F5 products. This position requires strong product and customer deployment knowledge. The NPIE exhibits technical sales ability, high level network engineering knowledge, and knowledge of enterprise architectures and business processes. Because of their close working relationship with product development NPIEs have extensive knowledge of software development processes and development lifecycles.
* Manage projects of any complexity with minimal need for supervision or assistance.* Receive internal and external customer requests to be converted into product requirements.* Provide customer and support related feedback into the product development cycle.* Work with Professional Services and Services Delivery organizations to define and implement security related learning paths and best practices.* Act as both a mentor and evangelist for security technologies, interacting at all levels.* Produce internal training on security product, features, and service offerings.* Work with Product Development and Product Management to ensure product roadmaps conform to customer and support needs.* Manage projects of any complexity with minimal need for supervision or assistance.* Direct interaction with Product Development on behalf of all external organization and customers.Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
