Position Description:

ICC is currently seeking a Data Architect with strong Data Modeling experience for our Business Intelligence Practice; please go to the following link to learn more about our practice: http://www.iccohio.com/services/business-intelligence/

Position Qualifications Include:

• Define requirements by conducting interviews and facilitating data modeling sessions with business clients.
• Document business requirements, descriptions for entities, attributes, domain values and relationships using data modeling tools to create Entity Relationship Diagrams and multi-dimensional data models.
• Prepare and conduct presentations that educate the business users on how the business intelligence database design meets the business requirements.
• Assist the Database Administrators in the creation of a Physical data model that is optimized for the target Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), i.e., Oracle, DB2/UDB; enforce existing and develop new naming standards.
• Assist the ETL team in the design of efficient processes to load and manage the data, including a Data Quality Assessment to ensure the quality of the source data will meet the information requirements, developing Business Rules, Data Mappings, and Transformation Rules.
• Assist the business intelligence reporting team in the design and performance tuning of reporting products that will meet the business requirements.
