Web Solutions Developer  (Contract Opportunity)

This will start as a Contract and may lead to regular employee status.

Job Description:

This position is all about creating an integrated, enterprise-wide, no-touch, lead & revenue generation ecosystem – consisting of web site(s), content management system(s), and e-marketing system(s).   Creativity, drive, the ability to identify and implement technical solutions to business challenges, and the desire to build a web publication and online community are the starting points for this job.   To succeed, you must have the passion of an entrepreneur and the ability to design, develop and deliver a multi-faceted on-line experience to attract and grow a community around PI’s broadening product lines, educate prospects, and directly influence sales. 

 In this position, you will:

• Lead the ongoing development of PI’s customer facing web site(s) using Drupal/Alfresco
• Create and manage electronic Direct Marketing campaigns
• Work with domain experts to deliver compelling online marketing programs
• Lead the creation and roll-out of applications for the web and mobile platforms
• Lead PI’s global SEO efforts
• Support the creation of monthly e-newsletters, channel-marketing campaigns, online advertising, and other internet and e-marketing collateral related to Web/Community 2.0

Experience:

• In-depth knowledge of  database-driven dynamic website design and development using PHP/Javascript/HTML5/XML/CSS3/MySQL
• Experience implementing/developing on the Drupal/Alfresco platform
• Knowledge of marketing automation/electronic direct marketing systems (Eloqua preferred)
• Familiarity with social networking, blogging, video, viral marketing and other new media marketing strategies
• Experience multi-tasking and working under production deadlines
• Familiarity with MS Windows and Office
• Ability to work effectively with other team members across multiple geographies

Related Skills Desired:

• Familiarity with open source Content Management Systems (CMSs) such as Oracle UCM/WCM
• Knowledge of enterprise-class web infrastructures based on Linux/Apache/Tomcat/Solr
• Demonstrated competency with Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience implementing Internationalized web applications
• Programming experience in C/C++/C#/Java
• Experience working with and/or implementing Web Services (REST/SOAP/WSDL,XML, JSON, .NET)
• Marketing Communications, Journalism, PR or Publishing exposure

Education:

• BS/BA in Computer Science with focus on Web Development technologies, plus two to five years of experience designing and developing solutions in a corporate setting (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
