We are looking for an experienced Storage Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.
Specific Job Responsibilities Include:
Processing/loading of all software releases received from the System Support Office (SSO). Utilizing the Sightline tool to monitor the performance of all production and development platforms. Performing Unisys Secure Readiness Review (SRR) audits utilizing the SRR Toolkit on all platforms. Maintaining and managing the tape library systems (STAR-1100 and SLS). Maintaining production schedules utilizing the OpCon/xps system. Managing the security environment of all platforms utilizing the Unisys SIMAN utility. Monitoring the operational systems via the Single Point of Operations (SPO) system. Responding to system problems passed through the Trouble Management System (TMS). Interfacing with vendor personnel to resolve potential hardware issues. Managing and addressing issues related to the data replication (SRDF and RecoverPoint) in the EMC Disc Array environment. Troubleshooting user network connectivity issues (cpComm, TAS, cpFTP, TIP, etc.)
Support operations of Storage Area networks (SANs) and storage systems across customer platforms.
The core component of the OS2200 OE supporting the mission critical applications within DECC Oklahoma City is based on the Unisys ClearPath Dorado OS2200 operating system; however, there are multiple support components tightly integrated into the core Dorado systems that make up the full OS2200 OE solution.
Support components include: EMC V-Max storage platforms, EMC RecoverPoint data replications appliances, DSI Virtual Tape Library (VTL) units, Unisys ES3000 Windows support servers, F5 Big-IP SSL encryption appliances, and multiple 3rd party software solutions that are unique to the OS2200 operating system.
Supporting large-scale Storage Area Network environments in DECC Oklahoma City requires Windows system administration skills
