What is this role?
As a Sales Director you are responsible for all aspects of your business including strategy, planning and execution in order to meet or exceed quarterly and annual license, maintenance and implementation services sales objectives and quotas, maintaining existing customers and building new revenue streams through the expansion and growth of the business relationships within current and new clients as well as expense control. You are responsible for overall team quota performance. The expectation is that you will spend the majority of your time working with your direct reports to coach and develop them to build on their success throughsales skills, product knowledge, teamwork, time and territory management, competitive knowledge, and career goals pursuits.
What you will do:
• Develop, implement and measure regional sales strategies and plans
• Manage and grow opportunity pipeline
• Provide consistent and accurate sales and pipeline forecasts/results to senior management
• Assist in sales efforts, legal contracting, and in resolving customer issues
• Attract, engage and retain top performers
• Grow customer satisfaction across the assigned region by providing exemplary service and support
• Provide ongoing feedback/coaching, implement correction actions when necessary and regularly schedule performance reviews.
• Participate in various headquarter/regional planning and training activities
What you'll bring:
You are a proven sales leader with deep experience in the enterprise application software space within the Western US, ideally having worked in the Enterprise Content Management market where you gained knowledge of our competitors and related industries. You success has been a result of your ability to create and work a plan to drive revenue and from coaching your teams during complex enterprise deals. You have demonstrated strong business acumen and are capable of developing and managing strategic plans with partner and company executives. You have shown in the past that you can analyze situations, employing creative and effective decision making to solve problems/achieve results.
