Software Development Engineer
Contract/Contract to hire - very good opportunity

Job Description:
My client is looking for a very technical, heavy-hitting Software Development Engineer to join a small team building hosted services on all tiers for a new product line. The right candidate will need to be strong in developing web and windows services.

Primary Responsibilities: 
Good experience with development of middle tier to backend technology. Candidate will be building new and unique web services.  They will be expected to work closely with the other members of the product development team to design and out a number of important features.

Skills/Experience
1.    Experience in designing, implementing and deploying large scale distributed applications and web services in a Windows 2003 Server environment. This should include both Windows services and Web Services as both technical designer and developer. Successfully shipping and/or deploying one or more of these services is very important.
2.    Experience developing with current .NET/C# environments is also critical, as well as practical experience deploying components based on .NET  tools and concepts. 
3.    Experience working with stored procedures and strong SQL Server experience  is necessary.  The Engineer will need to be strong with working with large amounts of data (gigabytes to terabytes) is highly desired.
