You are a smart, well-rounded hardware engineer who is excited to work in all phases of the system life cycle, from design through implementation, testing, and sustaining. You are someone who can jump into all
aspects of a challenging and rewarding hardware engineering role, including schematic capture / digital design, hardware troubleshooting (including analog and RF), printed wiring board layout, and FPGA (VHDL, Verilog). You are a team player who can also work hard on individual tasks with minimal supervision. Your first task will be to support the current ongoing production program in order to become familiar with the product. - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience in hardware/electrical engineering
- Experience with digital design involving processors, SDRAM, FPGA, Ethernet, DC to DC converters
- Familiar with schematic capture tools (OrCAD, DxDesigner)
- Experienced with FPGA
design and simulation methods using VHDL or Verilog hardware description language
- Hardware testing and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, multimeters, etc
- Up to 10% travel
- US government position. US citizenship required.
