Techworkers is a leading Staffing and Services company and we have a position with a Worldwide Technology Leader in San Jose. We work with the Hiring Manager.
The Program Manager requires outstanding communication, motivation, and influencing skills. Candidates should have experience managing cross functional process and systems oriented projects with subject matter expertise in business process planning, project portfolio management and Service Sales initiatives being a real plus.
Job Responsibilities • Manages projects throughout the project lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close). • Works with stakeholders to formulate and define project scope and objectives; and to define project requirements and deliverables. • Plans and directs activity definition and sequencing, project schedules/milestones, deliverables, cost estimates, quality requirements & plan. • Plans, analyzes and responds to project risk. • Monitors and communicates progress of project to all stakeholders as required. • Ensures that the quality of project deliverables meets customer requirements. • Conducts integrated change control including project plan updates and performance reports. • Identifies and initiates proactive and corrective action and escalates as necessary • Continuously manages project stakeholder expectations. • Establishes communications with interdependent projects, works collaboratively to meet deliverables.
Required Skills • 7 + years related program management experience. • BS/BA degree or equivalent, MBA preferred • Strong communications skills (written and oral) within team and to stakeholders. • Ability to work on projects with high technical complexity. • Outstanding presentation skills. • Strong influencing and negotiation skills. • Ability to provide clear communication into the business; interfaces with both internal and external clients. • Familiarity with Service Sales desired • Ability to manage the project team effectively to obtain deliverables. • Facilitating large cross-functional project teams
