TISO–TCS/Radio Communication Technician (90 day OCONUS TDYs)

Project/Contract Details: This is a long-term contract with over 100 positions. Apply to this position if you are looking for a contract that can provide you multiple assignments over the course of your career.
As an emerging expert, evaluates, designs, documents, installs, implements, tests, performs problem isolation and resolution, monitors, tunes, and sets standards. Plans and coordinates the installation of tactical communications infrastructures. Researches, evaluates, and recommends tactical communications equipment and technologies. Devises solutions to complex operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment. Provide team leadership to less experienced communications engineers. Assists in internal training programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
As our Radio Communication Specialist you will have the opportunity to deploy to forward operating bases for 90day TDY(s) supporting communications to include tactical, network, secure voice and data communications. You will also provide team leadership to less experienced communications engineers and assist in internal training programs. You will work with PRC-148, PRC-152, PRC117 and RF-5800 radios (ICOM/Harris/Motorola/PRC). You will gather requirements from forward locations, formulate the plan, order equipment and lead the installation.
Work Location/Travel: Candidate is expected to complete 2 - 90 day TDY(s) annually. (including hazardous sites). 90 day TDYs. War zones and danger pay.
Must have current clearance and access level as required by the customer (Top Secret/SCI with POLY+).
Requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Math) or equivalent, 7-9 years of work experience.
Experience with functional roles as a Tactical/Tele-COMM Specialist.
MINIMUM of 3-5 years supporting ICOM/Harris/Motorola/PRC or similar Radio Networks.
MINIMUM of 3-5 years of Tactical/Radio communications experience.
Willingness to perform extended TDYs in dangerous/Hostile environment.
Ability to be medically and administratively cleared for international travel.
Ability to successfully qualify for weapons training.
TDY experience with sponsor AGENCY.
Cerifications and training for war zones, including fire arms, trauma, others.
