With a wide range of knowledge the position maintains and provides complex technical support, testing and troubleshooting for the telecommunications of the network, including all telecommunications hardware and software for the network operations center.
Switching, routing and firewall configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Windows workstation/server builds and maintenance.
System security lockdown implementations.
Cabling and infrastructure troubleshooting.
Cisco router, switch and ASA firewall experience required.
Windows 200X system build, configure and maintain experience required.
Knowledge of SIPRnet and NIPRnet networks.
The clearance level required is SECRET
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher desired.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification desired.
Security+ certification or higher desired.
IP and ISDN Video Teleconferencing knowledge to include operation and configuration of CODECs, ADTRANs, MCUs, Cryptographic devices, and other video-teleconferencing equipment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : Typically requires bachelor's degree and five and seven years of related experience.
