Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technical Team Lead is responsible for the planning, organizing and managing all of the technical activities for a program which is responsible for supporting the customer's enterprise financial management system. The position entails directing and supervising all technical resources for the completion of project assignments and activities. The Technical Team Lead directs the technical aspects of the program through the software development lifecycle in accordance with project objectives. This position is also responsible for administrative duties defining, acquiring and allocating budget, staff and other resources necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the program. The Technical Team Lead is responsible for interviewing, selecting, and training staff to provide quality results, as well as developing performance plans and evaluations of employees. Other duties include forecasting and ensuring CACI policy compliance.
Requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and 10 to 12 years of related experience Requires three to five years of supervisory/management experience leading teams of 10+ software developers, analysts, and database administrators. Technical management and software development experience relating to federal business systems or ERP's- Proven record of managing the delivery of COTS implementations in accordance with the customer's statement of work
- Familiarity with the customer's business processes and technical architecture
- Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with scheduling programs such as MS Project to develop schedules and resource plans
- The position requires an active Top Secret clearance with poly.
- Experience with Momentum Financials or similar ERP system
- Web services architecture design and development for large scale business systems
- SOA development to include webMethods, XML, Java, SOAP, and Axis
- Experience with Java, J2EE, C++
