Release Engineer
Location: Greater Los Angeles Area, CA
Duration: Contract to Hire
Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00/hour
We are seeking an experienced Release Engineer to work on a contract to hire basis for a client of ours in the Greater Los Angeles area. This position will be responsible for developing a build and release process, setting up the appropriate infrastructure, and documenting and automating the process. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast paced, diverse environment, and who is passionate about technology. This position is expected to become permanent - at which time full benefits and generous bonuses based on job performance can be expected!!
Required:
Experience maintaining and working in Linux environments
Design, build, and maintenance of an automated build and release environment
Python, .Net, PHP, HTML and other technologies
Experience designing a software release process to satisfy internal audit and compliance
Coordination of release from development to production
Familiarity with continuous integration servers - Jenkins or Hudson
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases - MSSQL and MySQL
Desired:
