Job Summary:
Given minimal direction, the Functional Analyst utilizing programming, analytical, and tool set knowledge and skills to assess, define, implement, and deliver IT solutions to meet business needs. Provide solutions to a wide range of problems and proactively seek solutions. Provides leadership, direction and accountability for Applications Services. Intermediate knowledge of the steel industry, ERP/SAP data/application knowledge, business information reporting skills, analytical skills, communication skills, maintenance/support skills, and the clients tool sets. Proactively seek and provide solutions to a wide range of business and technical problems.

Specific Technical Skill Requirements:
* Minimum of 5+ years of SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management) experience with SAP version ECC 5.0 or later
* Experience of at least one full life cycle implementation of PP/MM and experience in dynamic support environment
* Thorough understanding of integration amongst core SAP modules
* Strong configuration and system design experience in all SCM modules with emphasis on PP and including MM, demand and supply planning, fulfillment and procurement
* Familiarity with and configuration experience in sales and operations planning, supply chain planning (Demand and Supply Planning including Master Production Scheduling and Distribution Planning), supply chain performance management and Inventory management.
* Experience with APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) a plus.
* Basic understanding of ABAP programming with debugging skills and a good knowledge of working with user exits
* Experience in variant configuration environment and process industry is preferred
* Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
* SAP or APICS Certification a plus
