The Judge Group has an immediate opening for an ETL Analyst. This is a DIRECT HIRE, PERMANENT, full-time position. This position requires experience with SSIS; Our client is looking for someone who can handle large amounts of data, analyze it, massage it and discuss findings with internal and external users. Looking for someone who has SSIS experience (at least one year). This person will be part of a team in a fast -growing organization that specializes in "Big Data", predictive analytics and other state-of the-art data concepts and technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, create and maintain enterprise-class ETL (extract transform load) processes using a variety of tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Informatica, Talend and Pentaho
- Create and maintain SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers and other scripts
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and architects to design and code solutions
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
- Create, document and implement unit test plans and scripts
- Create and maintain technical specification documentation
- Investigate, document and correct reported data or process defects
- Data profiling to determine strengths and weaknesses of data
- Research new and current design and coding methodologies with a focus on data integration and metadata
- Perform peer code reviews
- Additional, related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a database/SQL development or ETL role
- Experience with data modeling and relational or dimensional models
- Passion for working collaboratively to deliver world-class client solutions
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud-based provider preferred
- Experience with big data or large data sets preferred
- Experience with NoSQL or other non-relational database a plus
