The Data Integration Manager plays a key leadership role in our organization by leading software/ETL development and application implementation activities.  The person selected will be challenged with meeting challenging development and support commitments and establishing world class development processes.  The manager must be a strong leader with the ability to help grow an ETL development team. The person must drive the development and implementation of ETL processes within a complex multi-platform environment that includes a world class, industry leading data warehouse. The manager must have the ability to quickly assess team/project needs, capacity and competency and make changes where necessary. This is a technical managerial position requiring the individual to provide technical input to products and work with peers to implement a comprehensive project based planning process across all software groups and projects.  Cross-functional alignment within Information Services and business partners is another critical aspect of this position.  Oversees multiple concurrent large scale projects, directs the allocation of resources, and sets priorities.

Analyze complex problems and offer solutions to the business critical endeavors.

Provide strategic planning and leadership to the Product Development organization in developing state of the art solutions.

Develop technical strategies and roadmaps that meet or exceed product goals and objective.   

Proactively research technology for the best product solutions and conformance to company architectures.

Provide leadership to ensure overall design of products meet load, scalability, ease of support and maintenance needs.

Lead professional growth and development of staff.

Establish, maintain, and achieve team goals that are aligned with organizational objectives.

Create a productive environment that promotes initiative, innovation, continual learning, and development of key personnel for future advancement.

Mentor and develop software personnel and lead recruiting efforts.

Monitor staff to ensure departmental standards are followed, including identification of areas needing improvement.

Foster an environment which encourages learning, development, and leadership.

Requirements:

Experience managing/leading high performance software development teams

Experience with leading-edge value-driven design processes and agile software development and production methods for mission-critical systems

In-depth knowledge of Tier 1 ETL tools is preferred, e.g. Ab Initio, Informatica, DataStage

In-depth experience in ETL design, implementation and support

Experience with multiple database platforms including Oracle, SQL Server and Teradata

In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies

Effective communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and effectively

Working knowledge of regulatory requirements i.e.: PCI, federal, state, SOX

Excellent organizational/project management skills

Travel or financial industry experience preferred, but not required

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field required, Masters Degree preferred
