A 25 year old privately held enterprise software company, that is the absolute global leader in its market, is looking for several Sr. .NET Developers. Company is extremely profitable, has cash reserves, has 400+ of the largest global financial institutions as clients and has 500+ employees.
The Sr. .NET Developer will be responsible delivering new solutions for growing dynamic enterprise software products utilized by the largest financial institutions in the world. The Sr. NET Developer will be developing and building cutting edge, high performance enterprise software solutions using cutting edge technology. The Sr. NET Developer will be building an exciting next generation product that leverages the latest advances in database tools, grid computing, hardware-based acceleration techniques and visualization optimization. The platform utilizes Restful web services, 100+ TB of data warehousing/OLAP solutions, large scale distributed data processing technology, best-in-class virtualization technology and GPU-based computing in a SaaS environment. The Sr. .NET Developer will be responsible for the design of systems using MVC 3 and MVC 4 and full SDLC of new product offerings within an Agile environment; including gathering and documenting user requirements, development and testing of prototypes on the .NET 4.0/4.5 frameworks using C#.NET components, Web Services, and Enterprise Services components, performing testing, deployment into production and documentation. Server side development will primarily consist of C# running on Windows 2008/2008R2 and ADO.NET Entity framework to connect to SQL Server 2008/2008R2/2012 on the backend, while client side development will consist of Silverlight, WPF, ASP.NET 4.0/4.5 and JavaScript. The company systems are currently running on the .NET 4.0 and 4.5 and utilizing WCF for a SOA. The Sr. .NET developer will be using WCF to implement advanced Web services (WS) standards such as WS-Addressing, WS-ReliableMessaging and WS-Security and provide RSS Syndication Services, WS-Discovery, routing and support for REST services. Company uses TFS for Source Control.
The position reports to the Development Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:
5-10 years of .NET Development (preferred experience on v4.0 and/or v4.5)
Experience measuring performance, identifying bottlenecks (code and/or architectural design), and monitoring resource usage (memory, CPU, disk IO, network IO)
Experience with MS design patterns (MVC 2/3/4, MVVM, MVP)
WCF for messaging and communication with remote web services
Web Services using WS-Addressing, WS-ReliableMessaging, WS-Security, XML, RESTful and/or SOAP
Experience designing and implementing resource oriented, service oriented and object oriented APIs.
Experience with ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript and CSS for presentation layer (Plus: Silverlight and/or WPF).
Should have experience developing within an Agile/Scrum environment
TFS (Team Foundation Server) for source control and reporting
Experience writing SQL to SQL Server 2005/2008R2/2012
BS in CS or related degree (MS and/or Ph.D. a big plus)
