A company’s “people investment” is one of its most significant investments and the Performance & Reward practice focuses on helping clients better manage the cost and risk of their Human Resource (HR) plans, programs and systems. Performance & Reward professionals help clients allocate HR costs and assess operations to deliver business performance improvement. We also help clients manage the risk associated with their benefit plans and other HR programs, including assessing the financial implications of a transaction on the HR function and programs. We currently have a career opportunity for a Staff to manage a wide variety of projects addressing Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, and human resource issues relating to an employer's compensation and benefits programs, as well as other strategic business matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain meaningful exposure to our business as a key member of our client services team. Responsibilities Collaborate with a team of Performance & Reward professionals consisting of actuaries as well as compensation, plan administration and transaction professionals. Work directly with clients on projects involving many aspects of employee benefits, human resource operations, and human resource transaction-related projects.
To qualify, candidates must have:
* a JD with strong academic credentials
* approximately 1-3 years of experience in tax and employee benefits law
* excellent written and verbal communication skills
* ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* PC proficiency
