GEICO and the IT Compliance team is looking for a strong, highly motivated IT Compliance Analyst to support IT's PCI/SOX Compliance and Corporate Balancing teams. The IT Compliance Analyst must have a proven track record of leading large, complex projects from inception to implementation on schedule. Projects may be compliance and/or application development efforts.
-The ideal candidate will have at least five years of proven experience in a leadership/supervisory position and possess a strong understanding of mainframe and distributed/open systems, Java or .NET, SQL, SSIS and SSRS;
-Experience and hands on expertise with SOX is a must.
-BA/BS degree, ideally in Computer Sciences or Information Systems;
-Industry certification (e.g., CISA, CISSP);
Other qualifications include:
-Ability to lead and perform compliance assessments;
-Ability to lead, perform and provide guidance in the remediation of compliance scanning for PCI vulnerabilities;
-Ability to establish distributed balancing/reconciliation architecture roadmap design and guidelines for IT modernization projects;
-Ability to learn vendor balancing product and mentor senior developers;
-Expertise in supporting, troubleshooting and problem resolution of distributed applications and/or compliance scanning software;
-Ability to lead a technology adoption process, if needed, for a new COTS balancing/reconciliation product;
-Demonstrated, excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical audiences;
-Strong interpersonal skills;
-Strong analytical, design, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills;
-Strong Project Management skills;
-Ability to interact with all levels of GEICO Management as well as outside the company;
-Ability to work independently as well as within a project group;
-Ability to learn quickly;
-Ability to display initiative and be a self-starter;
-Ability to multitask, organize and manage multiple demands;
-Ability to pay attention to details;
-Ability to be a team player; and
-Ability to recognize and apply an appropriate sense of urgency.
$100,000 - $113,000 commensurate with experience.
