Sr UI Engineer (Graphic Design, D/HTML, CSS) Must be able to create graphics + components/templates used by developers.

We are looking for a User Interface Designer: To us, that is someone who can both create the graphics as well as create the components and templates that will be used by our Java developers. This person is not really a coder, more someone who can structure the work for other coders. However, this person still needs to be technical and able to work in a complex engineering environment and interface with engineers. Ideal mix of skills will include solid UI Design skills (and graphic design) with some proficiency in coding with JSP, XML, D/HTML, CSS and have worked in an Open Source environment (prefer Struts Tiles).
Person must also be willing to provide a portfolio of UI work.

Required experience:

• Good UI design/development/customization experience in a 3-tier environment with proficiency in Java (JSP tag libraries & struts) and XML--as well as JavaScript, CSS, D/HTML, and Flash.


• 3+ years developing enterprise software application UI's in with an emphasis on desinging/developing functionally-rich, web-based UI's (this is not a website development position).


• Proven ability to create mockup page designs and templates for new web pages based upon direct and cross-functional team requirements


• Position requires good graphics design background (Photoshop, etc.) Good cross-platform experience required (Windows/Unix)
