Software Architect
San Francisco, CA
The Architect must have experience in the design of a large scale internet sites, preferably a consumer-focused, large scale E-commerce site. Experience in key E-commerce components such as payment processing, merchant of record, product management tools, global address validation, security, order processing and fulfillment are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to handle interruptions while seamlessly switching between several projects as well as dealing with the issues that arise when running a highly available service.
- Experience with architecture design concepts and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to a broad based team are crucial.
- Building robust, high quality, highly distributed trading platforms for very high throughput systems
- Strong interactive skills, able to communicate among diverse division within the organization and externally within the industry*
- Manage and mentor a team of architects, senior developers and analysts*

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

- Technical experience with any of the following advantageous; SOA, EDA, Java SE/EE/ME, hadoop, .NET, C++, HTML,CSS
- Masters degree or equivalent professional certification desirable
