Android Developer -- Senior Software Engineer Mobile Applications
Fulltime position
Location: Mountain View, Ca
In this role you will help create a mobile messaging applications and services being used by millions of people worldwide.
We own iPhone and Blackberry apps in our niche mobile space and we're looking to expand to more platforms. Android is a priority and we need a technologists to help develop the strategy and architecture on this initiative.
If you are excited about working in an early stage startup and passionate about building world class mobile applications then this role is for you.
Full Time Responsibilities:
Design, code and maintain architectural design and development for Android and Blackberry messaging solutions.
You will be the subject matter expert for Android platform
Requirements:
5 years software development experience
1 + years experience developing Android or Blackberry apps.
3 + years Java / J2EE or C/C++ coding experience.
Experience with XMPP
Use of Test- Driven development methodologies with strong understanding of OOD and OOP.
Familiarity with the Google Android SDK
Passionate about Internet and mobile services and application technologies
BS degree in Computer Science or MS a plus
