The Systems Engineer/Analyst will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyze for total systems. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Various locations in Washington DC/Virginia/Maryland

Some of our client engagements do require up to 100% travel for an extended period of time. Consultants are required to be flexible with their ability to travel and cannot refuse projects due to travel.

Required
* High School Diploma/GED
* At least 2 years experience in Systems engineering
* At least 2 years experience in developing, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements reviews and developing concepts of operation
* At least 2 years experience in interface standards, developing system architectures, performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis
* At least 2 years experience in Object Oriented and structured development methodologies, networks, data storage, data modeling, security architectures and CASE tool selection and use.
* Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
* U.S. citizenship required
* English: Fluent

Preferred
* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 6 months experience in system architectures in a service oriented and ESB environment
* At least 6 months experience in using agile and/or spiral development models
* At least 6 months experience in developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageablility and security requirements for mid to large scale programs
* At least 6 months experience in developing solutions integrated and extending COTS products. Integrating COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors
* At least 6 months experience in developing, delivering, testing and supporting integrated hardware and software systems with functional requirements within CMMI Level 2
