Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of HR & Collaboration Applications and based in Redwood City, CA, you will be a key member of a lean and high impact IT organization of 140 people who are aligned in several geographically dispersed centers in over 28 countries that support an employee base of 3,200+ people. You will be part of a leading-edge IT organization with top quality people focused on customer satisfaction, superior execution and delivery. 

You are an energetic, organized, and collaborative Technical Lead with the passion to make a positive business impact to join our highly motivated team of professionals in delivering innovative enterprise collaboration and employee engagement solutions for our business community. You will have the opportunity to expand your technology portfolio at a very fast pace. You will get a chance to implement the latest .NET and J2EE solutions while working with SAAS-based and on-premise systems. You won’t be stuck in only a single project every year but instead be driving the implementation of multiple projects each quarter. You are a multi-talented professional capable of technically managing multiple projects while being the technical advisor and escalation point for critical technical problems. Your Responsibilities
•Provide technical leadership and expertise for the HR and Collaboration Applications team and be accountable for the deliverables to which you have ownership
•Represent the technical team and work closely with business teams to understand the business landscape, current and upcoming requirements as well as conceptualize and present optimal solutions
•Provide technical coaching to our development team
•Act as an escalation point for the technical team in addressing critical production support issues.
•Manage and coordinate vendor support, in conjunction with our global team where necessary, for project deployments and critical operational issues
•Stay current with emerging employee engagement and social collaboration technologies and solutions and find ways to recommend innovations to the team and our business sponsors

Your Qualifications
•6+ years of demonstrated extensive experience with enterprise web application design and development 
•1-2 years of demonstrated experience as a strong technical lead
•Excellent oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization 
•Self-motivation and willingness to learn with a strong sense of accountability and a proven track record of delivering results
•Proven ability to handle multiple projects with a high attention to detail 
•Proven ability to negotiate project scope and deliverables
•Demonstrated strong solution design, problem solving and debugging skills especially in pressured situations 
•Demonstrated deep technical knowledge with some of the following, 
-MSFT .NET web technologies and Java-based web technologies
-Expertise with FAST for SharePoint 2010 platform
-Expertise with SAAS applications such as Salesforce, Workday
-Relational database experience and design with MS SQL Server 2005/2008
•Demonstrated ability to work in an international environment, including coordinating and collaborating with distributed technical resources
•Ability to illustrate accomplishments through examples and discussions of recent work related to this position 
•Four-year degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or systems engineering 

Desired Skills and Experience
•Prior experience in IT consulting is a plus
•Experience working with:
-Social collaboration Technologies such as Salesforce Chatter, Yammer, LinkedIn
-Search Technologies such as Google Search Appliance, Coveo
-Business process/workflow analysis tools
•Working knowledge of content management best practices is a plus
