Network Architect  CCIE

Skills /Qualifications:  - Bachelor or above degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related Engineering majors - Cisco Systems or comparable certification (CCIE, CCNP, CCDA, etc) - CCIE is mandatory for this position - 10 years of network engineer experience - Expertise to develop, procure, install and maintain company's networking and Telecommunications infrastructure - Ability to engineer data delivery requirements from end to end to include a strong working knowledge of data transmission characteristics, application requirements, protocols, server infrastructures, data center technologies - Expert knowledge in NetApp, EMC & other competing technologies - Must be able to troubleshoot and support CIFS, NFS & iSCSI protocols in high availability & distributed storage environments - Ethercat network experience - Experienced in Firewall and remote access technologies (i.e. Checkpoint, PIX, Contivity) and extranet connectivity to assure highly secure environments - Highly advanced trouble shooting skills, problem resolution, project management and technology evaluation to meet business requirements - Skilled with network trouble shooting tools - Sniffer, cable testers, packet capture/decoding software - Experienced with network management tools - HP Openview, Cisco Works, Visual Networks, Concord - Understand PC and server hardware/configuration sufficiently enough to troubleshoot Network connectivity problems - Fluent in written and spoken English

Travel: This opportunity will require 30%+ travel in the first year tailing off to 20% annually thereafter.

Duties: - Maintain LAN, WAN, and related network services environments to assure delivery of Envision Cloud applications, customer connectivity and availability - Proactively manage connectivity requirements of external and internal customers - all transport technologies and protocols - Manage LAN and WAN infrastructure to include cable systems, networking equipment, capacity planning, trouble shooting and problem resolution, and service monitoring - Establish high availability environment to include necessary maintenance procedures and communications plans - Design, implement and maintain storage technologies such as NAS & SAN storage - Maintain high degree of industry knowledge relative to network technologies, products and vendors and introduce them as solutions where applicable - Develop and maintain an understanding of all data delivery requirements that may affect the use of company's products and services - Work within company's IT and networking strategies & standards

Languages: - Mandarin would be a PLUS
