Senior Network Administrator / Engineer (Bilingual/ Spanish) -  Long term contract working on Special Projects working with several countries and moving some services to a more centralized support model based out of The Woodlands.  A leading midsize exploration company that works towards expert energy solutions.

Skills:  CCNA or CCNP is required, Oil and Gas experience is highly preferred, must be Bilingual: English/Spanish

Dutes: "           Responsible for maintaining, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Cisco routers, switches "           Maintain existing services while evaluating some services in places like: Argentina, Alaska, Ecuador, Brazil " Check and review network statistics " Configure maintenance and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching systems " Detect training needs for users and provide such training and documentation when required. " Provide problem troubleshooting and solutions by detecting the source of the problem (its origin) and measuring the impact it may have to the users and networks. " Maintain the physical inventory (stock) of all Networking hardware and software for control, use and administration of licenses and warranties. " Carry out any hardware changes and SW upgrades for any telecommunication element " Report problems and malfunctions to all the service and product vendors and carry out all necessary follow up to the reports until the problems or malfunctions are resolved or corrected.   Required Experience: "           Must be able to design, plan, and configure complex routed LAN/WAN 's across a global organization. "           Experience configuring network routers, switches and firewalls; familiar with network protocols and technologies that include TCP/IP, GRE, VPN, OSPF, BGP. " Excellent technical skills for troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving technical problems. " Excellent communication skills (speaking and writing) and good relationship with the clients. " Be able to work within a team environment multicultural and with open communication with peer to resolve problems. " Be able to work in a very dynamic environment and at times under high pressure and stress. " General knowledge of integrated tools and applications for the Oil and Gas industry (Schlumberger products, SAP R/3).
