Our client provides GIS based infrastructure related software solutions. They are seeking a Lead GIS Application Engineer to help them complete a growing list of development projects who will:

*       Determine system requirements, designing, developing, implementing and supporting custom applications and database solutions, based upon GIS applications
*       Maintain existing legacy applications including web and database server administrative tasks

*       Integrate third party asset management software with GIS, CAD and BIM platforms

*       Participate in preparing proposals in response to requests from private, federal and other government agencies 

Education & Experience Requirements:

*      More than four years hands-on experience in ESRI ArcGIS Server web application development using APIs including Flex, Javascript, Esri ADF for .NET, Bing Maps & Google Maps and in ArcSDE

*      Equal experience using Esri ArcGIS Desktop and extensions including Spatial Analyst, 3D analyst, Network Analyst

*       Experience in configuring, managing and maintaining ArcSDE databases

*       Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access , MySQL , PostgreSQL

*       Hands-on programming experience in C#, VB.net, ASP.Net, Adobe Flex Builder, Adobe ColdFusion, PHP , HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, Python Script, VBA, Web/Windows Services

*       Hands on experience with IBM Maximo Spatial and similar asset management software

*       Experience in administering IIS 7.5 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008

*       Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, and HTML 5, CSS 3 is a plus

*       Familiarity with web services using WCF

*       Knowledge in all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC)

*       Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems or electrical engineering or equivalent technical degree
