Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. MIS, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree) required • 7+ years of experience • Significant portion of above experience working for a technology consulting firm or software product company • Expert knowledge of software development processes and best practices utilizing SharePoint and the Microsoft technology stack • Must possess a deep technical and architectural understanding of all aspects of Microsoft SharePoint platform solutions for both 2007 and 2010 • Must have hands on experience and capabilities for developing and deploying customized SharePoint solutions • Advanced knowledge of Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management and/or Business Process and Forms • Strong knowledge in leveraging Microsoft’s suite of technologies for providing business intelligence solutions such as Microsoft SQL Server, Analysis Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services as well as other 3rd party reporting suites • Experience in designing, developing and testing client applications as part of software development cycle using an Agile development approach • Experience with service oriented design • Ability to develop rapid prototypes and proof of concepts for client evaluation • .Net Framework/ C#/ Experience with Sharepoint 2007/2010/ SQL Server 2008 • Strong understanding of Object Oriented design and implementation using the .Net Framework, C# and other .Net languages • Web development experience using ASP.Net Web Forms and/or ASP.Net MVC. • Experience with developing databases on Microsoft SQL Server • Proven ability to team with Project Managers and Architects to communicate progress and risks with client personnel for purposes of decision making • Experience in application lifecycle management systems such as Team Foundation Server • Strong understanding and experience in implementing QA procedures (code review, estimating, acceptance criteria, etc.) as they relate to SharePoint solutions • Experience with server installation, deployment models, performance tuning and enterprise scalability • Proven ability to identify, recommend and implement third party solutions, plug-ins and custom web parts • Demonstrated ability to stay current with Application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms, architectural and systems engineering industry trends • Must be able to take creative approaches to solving challenging problems • Must have the ability to meet tight deliverable deadlines • Must work well in a results-oriented environment as well as independently • Must work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment • Demonstrate excellent leadership and ability to interact in a team environment • Demonstrate advanced written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical personnel • Excellent project management skills with proven ability to multi-task • Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner • Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress • Must be able to learn new technologies with enthusiasm and a high degree of efficiency
