Window Escalation Engineer
Immediate! multiple shift opportunities in the Research Triangle Park, NC area for a Window Escalation Engineer for a major network product organization. As a technical support engineer, this position will provide technical support for diagnosing, reproducing, and fixing software and hardware issues on a Windows environment. Also, will troubleshoot protocols running on the clients hardware to assist customer with problem isolation and resolution.
The essentials functions include: Resolve Warranty, Resolving Enterprise Premium customer problems , Research customer issues in a timely manner and follow up directly with the customer with recommendations and action plans. This position is also responsible for building and administering servers such as Windows, Storage, Office Communicator etc.
Experience with building and administering Windows servers (Windows 2008) is required. Required to have knowledge with Windows NT remote file sharing protocol, Clustering, SAN, TCP/IP, Networking, RAID, Brutalization and Microsoft Exchange Server. Experience with advanced level skills in Active Directory is also required. Experience in providing enterprise customer support will be a huge plus.
