Job Description:

The Sr. Business Analyst supports the business units by participating in a functional capacity in all phases of the Project Life Cycle, including post-production support and ongoing maintenance. The Sr. BA participates in business process reengineering activities and serves as functional liaison to the user community.

Production Support:
* Provide assistance to first level IT support in resolving user issues, as well as direct support to user community.

Application Development:
* Analyzes and documents relevant business processes.
* Conducts interviews with customers to define functional requirements.
* Participates during detailed design and/or configuration.
* Participates in Integration Testing, including development of test plans, test cases and scenarios and documentation of results.
* Conducts User Acceptance Testing.

Skills:
* Strong analytical skills.
* JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Distribution modules (Inventory, Sales Order Management and Purchase Order Management).SQL or comparable database query tool.
* Ability to manage several tasks at once and prioritize accordingly.
* Good written and oral communication skills, including development of project documentation, presentation materials, and status reporting.
* Ability to understand the users' requirements and communicate them in an appropriate manner to development personnel.
* Demonstrated ability in IT analysis methodologies (i.e. process flow definition, data flow diagramming, etc.).
* Demonstrated ability to create plans and timelines using management tools such as MS Project.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, customers and other IT personnel.
* Ability to lead effective meetings that are tailored to the audience.
* Ability to communicate in foreign languages (i.e. French, Spanish, German) a plus.
* Enterprise Report Writing knowledge a plus
* Advanced Pricing knowledge a plus

Requirements:

* 3+ years of business analysis experience with JDE Distribution applications (Inventory, Sales Order Management and Purchase Order Management).
* Experience in defining user requirements.
* Experience with JD Edwards One World / EnterpriseOne required.
* Proven ability to perform database queries is required.
* Experience with project management software a plus.
