Job Description:

The iSeries administrator will monitor and maintain the operations of our AS400 iSeries machines at all locations to ensure the highest levels of effective performance of the systems. The administrator will have broad responsibilities for maintaining and operating all iSeries related systems.

Candidate Must Have Requirements:

* Configuration and maintenance of all iSeries systems at multiple locations
* Monitoring and maintenance of communication between iSeries
* Monitoring and operation of iSeries and associated peripherals
* Management of data backup and restore, must understand disk to disk to tape configuration
* Manage job scheduling including maintenance and operations
* Preventive maintenance of iSeries systems to ensure optimum performance levels
* Configuration and management of terminal servers
* Provide Tier 2 support to Helpdesk and Field Support group
* Extensive knowledge and experience with BRMS administration
* Extensive knowledge and experience with Robot administration
* Extensive knowledge and experience with version upgrades
* Extensive knowledge and experience in performance tuning and monitoring
* CL Programming
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* 7 years experience with iSeries/AS400 administration
