A wildly successful entertainment design company based in Los Angeles with New York offices is seeking an experienced Web Programmer / Developer for its Los Angeles Headquarters...
This contract to hire position will work closely with the Executive Producer and Operations Director. Candidates must have experience in PHP / MySQL. Experience with other formats is a plus.
Professional Skills:
Solid knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
Solid knowledge of standards-complaint CSS/XHMTL
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/graphic manipulation required for web production (not actual design)
Experience installing, customizing and extended open source applications such as Drupal, Word Press, php BB, Joomla, etc**
ASP/ IIS experience
Unix / Linux system administration, Apache administration
Experience with Pearl, RoR, Flash / ActionScript, Java, and C++
Professional Experience:
Four years programming experience with some formal training.
Two years working with web development for clients.
Applicants should have a strong desire to learn and grow their capabilities.
Must be a team player and work well in a highly creative, fast paced environment.
