SAP MM / Data Analyst Role- Direct Client Requirement

Location: Naperville, IL

Duration: 6+ Months

Local Candidate Required. F2F Needed.

Position Duties:

•           Building and executing queries to provide information to help with identifying anomalies and creating files to support business requests including importing and exporting data to Excel or Text files.

•           Data analysis to create data structures and move data.

•           Producing data-driven analysis to solve business problems.

•           Documenting processes that are built so they can be repeated

•           Occasionally interfacing with key business and project team members to facilitate seamless execution of data investigations.

•           Assisting in analyzing and resolving cross-functional data issues.

•           Working with business and IT users/owners to complete data mapping documents and define business rules to clean and transform data

•           Provide ongoing daily and/or weekly status to supporting project and resource managers.

•           Data collection, Analysis and reporting for early detection and correction, continual improvement.

•           Producing data-driven analysis to solve business problems.    

Position Description/Skills:

•           Experienced MS Office Access and Excel skills related to data analysis using queries, pivot tables, and vlookups.

•           Experience with SQL Server in table and query building for data analysis is a plus

•           Knowledge of DB2 and some experience with Mainframe is a plus

•           Experience with SAP business applications, including SAP R/3 Application Components especially MM and tools to perform data query and extracts to support exception analysis strongly desired

•           Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills

•           Ability to manage and adapt to dynamic changes in priorities, resources and deadlines

•           Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; interacts with all levels of associates and management within the organization

•           Ability to write Functional Specifications

•           Ability to create documentation an reusable processes

•           Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, with minimal direction

•           SAP IS-Retail Experience is also nice to have, however not required.
