Job Description:
Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system. Education: 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience Experience: 4+ years of experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems Knowledge/Skills: Detailed knowledge of procedures, utilities, program scripts, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Position details
Responsibilities:
The project is to build out and modify a departmental sharepoint site along with a contract library in SharePoint, fed by and queried by Infopath forms. We are looking for someone with experience developing enterprise portals, content and document management systems using SharePoint 2010, InfoPath 2007.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Well versed in developing:
1) custom MS InfoPath forms
2) Sharepoint web parts
3) Customized SharePoint workflows
4) Integrating multiple form libraries
• Ability to design and architect solutions based on the client long term vision.
• Well versed with Agile development methodology.
• Ability to communicate directly with client is essential.
• Experience with SQL Server for connectivity to Infopath forms and Sharepoint libraries for querying purposes.
• Good oral and written communication
• Ability to understand business needs and transform those needs into clean, effective, technology solutions
Nice to Have:
• Experience using Xcelsius with SharePoint and/or SQL Server
