ALTEK Information Technology, Inc. is currently recruiting for:

Sr. Project Manager- ICD-10

Title:  Sr. Project Manager- ICD-10
Location:  Owings Mills, MD
Duration:  6 Months +

Roles & Responsibilities:
1) Develop and manage overall project plan for Data & Informatics ICD10 program work
2) Overall accountability for delivery of Data & Informatics deliverables throughout project lifecycle.
3) Apply superior project and resources management skills to deliver results on time and within budget.
4) Work collaboratively with other ICD10 workstream leads, internal business group owners and program leadership.
5) Supervises and leads project staff to oversee the impacts and interdependencies between programs and works to ensure initiatives meet the ICD10 program goals.
6) Provides both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks, issues, and makes recommendations on project decisions to PMO and Senior Management.
7) Manages allocation of resources within the program(s) to meet work fluctuations and budget and time constraints in the delivery process. Creates a high performing team.
8) Manages contracts and vendors assigned to ICD10
9) Maintains current statements of work for all contractors; tracks and approves contractor invoices in a timely manner.
10) Provides regular updates to Program Director, project sponsor and stakeholders on the status of the budget and Data & Informatics workstream

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
1) A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
2) Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects
3) Minimum 8-10 years IT experience
4) Extensive project management experience, including accountability for a team budget, developing project plans, and achieving clearly defined project outcomes.
5) Excellent written and oral communication skills, extensive presentation experience, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
6) Experience managing projects with the development and testing of interfaces and extracts with 3rd party vendors as a component
7) Experience managing projects with the development and testing of reporting, business intelligence, and informatics as a primary component
8) Experience managing projects where delivery work is performed by offsite/offshore 3rd party vendors
9) Strong working knowledge of Healthcare systems, functions and processes preferred.
10) Possess knowledge of a standard PM methodology.
11) Outstanding communication skills (verbal, listening, written and presentation).
12) Strong problem-solving, organizational and facilitation skills.
13) Strong influencing and interpersonal skills and proven ability to get things accomplished through others.
14) Experience managing matrixed project teams.
15) PMP Certification preferred
