Data Systems Analysts (DSA) is a Microsoft Gold Partner supporting one of the largest Microsoft SharePoint instances in the Army. DSA currently supports over 40K Army users with SharePoint architecture, development and administration. With experience in both Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and 2010, DSA brings a wealth of knowledge in supporting SharePoint solutions within the Department of Defense (DoD).

SharePoint /.NET Developer

 

Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD or Fairfax, MD

Description:

You will become part of an application development team that works with state of the art technology creating applications that support the US Army. Using .NET technologies and SharePoint 2010, you will be responsible for application design, development, testing, debugging and documentation. Additionally, you will meet with users, acquiring specifications to develop web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.

 

Requirements:

Three to five years experience developing web based applications in .Net, and SharePoint

Experienced with current technologies including object oriented design and development

Microsoft .NET framework, including ASP.NET, SQL Server and C#

Design and development of custom SharePoint Web parts, SharePoint Features and SharePoint Console Applications

Building workflow applications using SharePoint Designer or Visual Studio/C#

Experience with Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Portal Server

Experience designing and developing web applications, designing user interfaces, writing test plans, testing applications

Desired Skills:

One year of exposure to Microsoft SharePoint 2010

Experience with developing, deploying, and supporting .NET applications in Microsoft SQL Server

Good communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

Excellent analytical and customer service skills.

Creative problem-solving skills and an ability to apply business logic to development requirements

 

Required Clearance/Certifications:

Candidate must hold or be eligible for DoD Secret clearance.

Candidate is required to have or obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within 3 months after employment start date. Required to obtain a technical certification is MS SharePoint within 6 months after hire.

 

Required/Desired Education:

Bachelor’s degree
