The IT Business Analyst is responsible for project analysis, requirements definition, solution and process design, and delivery of IT software solutions. A good understanding and demonstrated experience with healthcare platforms such as Policy Administration, Processing, Scheduling, EMR, Clinical, Financial and HR systems implementations is critical in setting quality requirements and a clear roadmap for the Matrix team. These enterprise applications will integrate and share common data to support high volume, efficient processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through analysis, workflow, requirements definition, and design phases of new and existing IT software platforms
• Meet with decision makers and end users to define business, financial and operational requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
• Work closely with teams to leverage system functionality to its fullest: automation, data integrity, and process enablement through system features and rolling out new modules and capabilities
• Examine opportunities for improvement and actively promote business change
• Help with training of existing staff in the effective use of new features and platforms that integrate with Operations, Clinical, Finance, HR and other products.
• 5+ years of implementation experience as a Business Analyst on complex IT software development and integration projects
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel
• 5+ years of healthcare experience with knowledge of the industry regulations: HIPAA, HITECH, etc.
• Proficiency with operating inside an Agile Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong project management skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline
• Good interpersonal working relationships with other team members and with customers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to monitor and track multiple tasks simultaneously
