Sr. SQL Developer
TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE   One is in Tempe, AZ  and the other is in Bloomfield Hills, MI

Develops, implements, and supports the company’s database systems. 

• Define and validate      database-related project deliverables.
• Recommend optimum      approaches for project path, utilizing specific area of technical      expertise.
• Follow best practices,      methods, standards and processes.
• Participate in process      improvement efforts and other cross-functional teams.
• Create and version TSQL-based code following Pulte's software development lifecycle procedures.
• Design SSAS cubes and      underlying database schema.
• Design and develop      complex SSIS packages.
• Review database schema,      objects and data scripts written by others and provide feedback.

 Provide support for production systems, including rotational on-call support, when required.

Job Requirements:
   

• In-depth knowledge of      Microsoft SQL Server is required. Proficiency with SQL 2008/R2 versions is      required.
• Senior-level experience      developing TSQL code for high-volume transactional databases is required.
• Proficiency with      database query optimization is necessary.
• Senior-level experience      with SSAS and SSIS is essential.
• Proficiency with      database design is required.
• Experience with Oracle      11g is desirable.

• Bachelor’s degree in      Computer Information Systems or equivalent
• Experience with OLTP and      T-SQL required

• A minimum of 5 years of      Microsoft SQL Server database development experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of      experience designing SQL Analysis Services cubes.
