TECHNICAL MANAGER, SAP BUSINESS WAREHOUSE AND REPORTING
Leadership Opportunity - CAS is seeking a seasoned Technical Manager to help drive continuous improvement and infuse industry best practices into the SAP BW and legacy reporting group. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of team management, development, SAP technical management, and project management skills.
Some key responsibilities will include:
- Technical direction for the SAP Business Warehouse system
- Project Management of key Department efforts involving Business Warehouse
- Promote and drive the development of SAP BW.
- Enhance the BW environment using best practices
- Production support management
- Drive accountability to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget Project Management Methodology
- Develop staff members to achieve a high level of performance
- Complete performance assessments for staff members
- Support production software through its life cycle
- Management of off hours production support for BW and legacy systems
- Support budget management impacting area of responsibility
Required Skills:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or comparable experience
- 7 years of IT Management experience in software development and operations required
- 7 years of experience managing software development projects
- Must have project management and technical management experience with SAP
- 5+ years’ experience with SAP Business Warehouse technology required
- Previous experience with BW 7.0 required
- Must bring strong management skills, multi-tasking skills; be able to work effectively with staff and management across CAS
- Excellent organization and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required
- Strong leadership skills include initiative, integrity, ability to develop staff, priority setting, flexibility, and relationship building
- Familiarity with software development practices and be a willing participant in adopting new development strategies and computing technologies.
